The Software Inventory Report provides the list of Assets where a Software or a list of Software is installed. It also provides the Asset details, such as Asset ID, Asset Serial No., Host name, Allocation Status, Asset Location, Asset Store, Customer, and so on. For information about reports, see Viewing Reports.

To view more details about an Asset, click the related Asset ID from the Asset ID column.

You can view the details of the Asset on the ASSET DETAILS page.

ACTIONS

This section explains all the icons displayed on the ACTIONS panel of the SOFTWARE INVENTORY REPORT page.

Filters

Click the Filters icon on the ACTIONS panel to specify the filter criteria to display records in the Software Inventory report. The FILTERS pop-up page is displayed. Select the required fields and click SUBMIT.

The following table describes the fields in the FILTERS pop-up page:

Fields

Description

Tenant

Select the Tenant from the list.

Customer

Select the Customer from the list.

Location

Select the location from the LOCATION tree.

Include store Asset

Select the check box to include In-Store Assets.

Vendor Name

  • To view the Software from all the configured vendors, enter %, and click SEARCH.
  • To view the Software from a specific vendor, enter %<vendor's name>%, and click SEARCH.

Software Name

  • To view all the Software, enter %, and then click SEARCH.
  • To view a specific Software, enter %<vendor's name>%, and then click SEARCH.

Software

Available Software

Lists all the available Software based on the search in the Vendor Name and Software Name fields. Click the icon to include a Software in the Restrict Software To field.

Restrict Software To

Lists all the selected Software from Available Software field. Click the  icon to remove a Software.

PRINT

Click PRINT to print the displayed report records.

EXPORT TO EXCEL

Click EXPORT TO EXCEL to export the record displayed in the report to Microsoft Excel.
