What's New?
Now, you can link Services on the Configuration Item ID page. A new option Service is available under the CI RELATIONS tab of the Configuration Item ID page. Services that are linked on the Configuration Item ID page display the CIs under the GENERAL tab of the respective Service on the Services page.
Example
Consider the Service Name as Server and the Service ID as S1. S1 is linked and displayed under the CI RELATIONS tab of the Configuration Item ID page. The CI ID that is linked with the Service S1 is displayed under the GENERAL tab of the Services page.

You cannot de-link a CI on the Services page without submitting the Service. You can de-link a Service on the Configuration Item ID page without submitting the CI. |
Configuration
On the Configuration Item ID page, under the CI RELATIONS tab, select the Service option to link a Service with the CI (CMDB > User > Configuration Item List > Select a CI ID or click ADD NEW on the ACTIONS panel > Click the CI RELATIONS tab > Select the Service option on the drop-down list > Specify the filter criteria and click SEARCH > Select the required CIs > Click LINK).
