The Warranty Report provides the detail of warranty periods of Assets under each selected Tenant. It displays the data in graphical and tabular form. Admin or Analyst can access the report based on access privileges assigned through roles.

The Warranty Report considers the time period of assets starting from 7 days to more than 1 year including the expired and not defined assets.

Steps to access Warranty Report

1. Navigate to Reports Asset Management > Warranty Report.

2. Click Filters on the Action panel to specify the filter criteria for generating the report. The criteria FILTERS pop-up appears.

3. Enter or select the values for Filter fields as described in the following table.

Select the Tenant from the list available. This is a mandatory field. For more details, view Tenant.

4. Click SUBMIT

The Warranty Report of Assets is displayed.

You can view a graphical representation of different Asset Warranty details of each Asset type across the count. Each bar represents an asset category and the color depicts various asset warranty time periods, starting from 7 days to more than 1 year including the Expired and Not Defined assets.

Move the cursor to various sections on the bar graph to view more details about the respective assets. Click the Download icon on the top-right corner to download the report as JPEG, PNG, PDF, or SVG vector image.

For the further drill-down, click on any bar in the graph which displays the Asset Warranty List with respective Asset ID, Allocated Status, Asset Code, Category Name, Serial Number, Employee ID, User ID and many other categories.

Click Asset ID hyperlink in the ASSET WARRANTY DETAILS: NOT DEFINED page to access the Asset Details. This gives a detailed view of Asset Information, Device Manager, Additional Discovery, Asset History, Endpoint, Password Audit Details, Patch Details, and Relationship.

Click on any of the asset type (For example Not Defined, Expired, 7 Days, 15 Days, 30 Days, etc. are different asset categories) to enable or disable them from being displayed on the ASSET WARRANTY DETAILS bar graph.

The tabular view of Warranty report gives Tenant-wise asset counts under each asset category.

Click any count hyperlink in the tabular view to display the asset list details of respective asset categories. The display is shown in the following figure.

Click Asset ID hyperlink in the ASSET WARRANTY DETAILS: ALL page to access the Asset Details. This gives a detailed view of Asset Information, Device Manager, Additional Discovery, Asset History, Endpoint, Password Audit Details, Patch Details, and Relationship. This is shown in the following figure.

Click the Refresh Report to fetch latest details for the report. Any changes performed after the Reports page was loaded, will reflect if you click on Refresh Report 

ACTIONS

You can perform following actions from the ACTIONS panel of the Warranty Report page.

Prints the displayed report records.

Exports the displayed records on the report page to a Microsoft Excel sheet.
