The SummitAI Asset Agent performs various tasks, such as scanning computers, downloading data, deploying Patches, and so on. The URL specified while installing the Asset Agent enables the proxy to report the data to the SummitAI database. The location based unique URL for each customer is bounded into the application installer setup package to avoid any post deployment activity and provide orderliness. This URL binding enables the installer to install the asset agent silently and enables the respective proxies to push the data to the SummitAI database. After the configuration is completed, the blob is updated, and a newly created download link is sent to the configured recipient to click and download the setup.

To build the Asset Agent installer file, perform the following steps:

  1. Select Admin> Advance > Automation > Asset Installer Request.
  2. Click ADD NEW on the ACTIONS panel. The ASSET INSTALLER REQUEST pop-up is displayed.
  3. On the ASSET INSTALLER REQUEST page, enter the details in the various fields and click SUBMIT to build the setup. For more information about the fields on the ASSET INSTALLER REQUEST page, see Field Description.
  4. Click SUBMIT. The asset installer request is created successfully.
