The Password Audit Report displays the details of password audit which includes details of activities performed by Analysts or Administrators. For instance, details of the Analyst who has viewed the password of the End User and the time of action. Admin or Analyst can access the report based on access privileges assigned through roles.

This report provides tabular view of the password audit across the Tenant. The report viewer can select the dates to view the data from a time period standpoint through the FILTERS option.

Steps to access Password Audit Report

1. Navigate to Reports Asset Management > Password Audit Report.

2. Click Filters on the Action panel to specify the filter criteria for generating the report. The criteria FILTERS pop-up appears.

3. Enter or select the values for Filter fields as described in the following table. 

Field 

Description 

Tenant*

Tenant is similar to department in an organization, example : Operations, IT. Select the Tenant name from the list. This is a mandatory field. For more information, see Configuring Tenants

Domain Name

Select the name of the Domain for which the report is to be displayed.

From DateSpecify the start date of the time period for which the report is to be displayed.
To DateSpecify the end date of the time period for which the report is to be displayed.
Search BySelect the category for which the report is to be displayed.
Search ValueEnter the relevant Search Value based on the selected Search by category.

4. Click SUBMIT.

The Password Audit Report is displayed.

In this tabular view report, you can find the details of Host Name, Serial number, Logged In User Name, IP Address, Domain Name, Group Name to which the viewer/auditor belongs to, Account Name, details of the viewer and time of action. 

5. Click Serial Number hyperlink in the Password Audit Report, which provides the Asset Details, which is shown in the figure below.

Few of the fields that are present in the report are explained in the following table.

Description

Asset CodeUnique Asset code for that Asset.

Asset ID

Displays the Asset ID of the Asset for which you want to define the database credentials.

Serial Number

Displays the Serial Number of the Asset for which you want to define the database credentials.

Host Name

Displays the Host Name of the Asset for which you want to define the database credentials.

Asset RegisterDisplays the basic information of the Asset, such as, Tenant, Category, Asset Code, Allocation status of the Asset, Asset condition, date when the Asset was added, the name of the user who added the Asset, Serial Number of the Asset, Model Number of the Asset, Vendor Name, Manufacturer name, Warranty details, CPU details, and so on.
Software DiscoveryDisplays the list of software installed on the Asset.
Hardware Discovery Displays the details about the hardware discovered on the Asset.
Device Manager Displays the Device Manager details of the Asset.

Click the Refresh Report to fetch latest details for the report. Any changes performed after the Reports page was loaded, will reflect if you click on Refresh Report 


ACTIONS 

You can perform following actions from the ACTIONS panel of the PASSWORD AUDIT REPORT page.

Icon

Prints the displayed report records.

Exports the displayed records on the page to a Microsoft Excel sheet.
