You can configure information to display on the Bulletin Board information about an existing outage or future events. The configured Bulletins are displayed under the BULLETIN BOARD section of the USER DASHBOARD page. The Bulletins are also displayed as Alerts (see: Alerts and Approvals).

To configure Bulletin:

  1. Select Admin > Advanced > Notifications >Bulletin Board.
  2. On the BULLETIN page, Click ADD NEW.
  3. Select the Tenant, type in the text you want to display in the Bulletin Description field and select the date range in which you want to display the message. For more information about the fields on the BULLETIN page see Field Description.
  4. Click SUBMIT. The new Bulletin detail is saved.

The following table describes the fields on the BULLETIN page:

Bulletin Description

Specify the text that you want to display on the Bulletin Board.

Bulletin From Date

Select the date for the specified Bulletin to start displaying on the Bulletin Board.

Bulletin To Date

Select the date for the specified Bulletin to start displaying on the Bulletin Board.

Customers

Select one or more customers that you do not want to associate with a Bulletin from Available Customers list and click the Add Selected icon to move to the Restricted Customers list. The Bulletin will not be visible to the customers added under the Restricted Customers list.

Locations

Select one or more locations that you do not want to associate with a Bulletin from Available Locations list and click the Add Selected icon to move to the Restricted Locations list. The Bulletin will be not be visible to the users of the Restricted Locations list.

Active

Indicates the status set for the Bulletin.

  • If selected, the Bulletin becomes an available option on the other pages of the application.
  • If not selected, the Bulletin becomes an inactive value. The inactive Bulletin is not displayed under the Bulletin Board or Bulletin list.

Display as Marquee

You can configure the bulletin to display it as marquee (a scrolling area of text) on the end user dashboard and all the pages of the application under the Quick Action Bar. If the checkbox is selected, you need to specify where the marquee where it has to be displayed.

  • Show in End User Dashboard Only: If selected, the marquee appears only on the End User Dashboard.
  • Show Globally: If selected, the marquee appears on all the pages of the application under the Quick Action Bar.

ACTIONS

This section explains all the icons displayed on the ACTIONS panel of the BULLETIN page.

SHOW LIST

Click SHOW LIST to display the LIST table showing all the Bulletins configured in the SummitAI application for the selected Tenant.

  • To edit a Bulletin, click the configured bulletin. Make appropriate changes and click SUBMIT.
  • To display the inactive Bulletins, click the Include Inactive check box.

When the Bulletins are displayed under the LIST table, the ADD NEW action is displayed on the ACTIONS panel. Click ADD NEW to configure a new Bulletin.
