You can configure the domain to scan Assets present in a network.

To configure domain:

  1. Select Asset > Configuration > Others > Domain Configuration. The DOMAIN CONFIGURATION page is displayed.
  2. On the DOMAIN CONFIGURATION page, click ADD NEW on the ACTIONS panel.
  3. Select the Tenant at the left pane.
  4. On the DOMAIN CONFIGURATION page, specify all the required information. to know more about the fields on the DOMAIN CONFIGURATION page, see Field Description.
  5. Click SUBMIT. The domain is configured.

The following table describes the fields on the DOMAIN CONFIGURATION page.

Field

Description

Fully Qualified Domain Name (FQDN)

Type in the complete name of the Domain.

Domain Alias Name

Type in the short form of the Domain name.

Scan Account

Select the execution account from the drop-down list.

Active

Select the check box to make the configuration active.

ACTIONS

This section explains all the icons displayed on the ACTIONS panel of the DOMAIN CONFIGURATION page.

SHOW LIST

Click SHOW LIST to display the LIST table showing the domain configured for the selected Tenant.

  • To edit a domain, click the configured Domain Name. Make appropriate changes and click SUBMIT.
  • To display the inactive domains, click the Include Inactive check box.

    When the domains are displayed under the LIST table, the ADD NEW action is displayed on the ACTIONS panel. Click ADD NEW to configure a new domain.
