You can view and monitor the details of all the Network Devices on the NETWORK DEVICE VIEW page.

To view Network Device View:

  1. Select Operations > User > Views > Network Device View.
  2. On the NETWORK DEVICE VIEW page, you can view the list of configured network devices.
  3. You can search for a specific Network using the Search text box. You can view the Networks in Tile view and Tabular view.

    The Network Device status information is displayed with different status indicator images in Tile view. Following are the different types of devices and icons displayed on the NETWORK DEVICE VIEW page:

    IconsDescription

    Indicates a Router device in the network.

    Indicates a Switch device in the network.

    Indicates a Access Switch in the network.

    Indicates the Memory utilization alert. Click to view the memory utilization details under the Network Device Details tab.

    Indicates the CPU utilization alert. Click to view the CPU utilization details under the Network Device Details tab.

    Indicated the associated Links and Interfaces of the selected device. Click to view the associated Links and Interfaces.
  4. In the Tile view, click the icon to view the Network Device details (see: Viewing Network Device Details).

Displays the icon of the device.

Field Description

The following table describes the fields in the associated Links and Interfaces table:

Indicates Links.
Indicates Interfaces.

Host Name

Displays the host name of the device

IP Address

Displays the IP address of the device.

Source Interface

Displays the Source Interface of the device.

Destination interface

Displays the Destination Interface of the device.

Status

Displays the status of the device.

Utilization (in)

Displays the Link data Utilization Inflow in KB.

Utilization (out)

Displays the Link data Utilization Outflow in KB.

CRC Errors

Displays the number of CRC errors occurred during data transfer.

Collisions

Displays the number of Collisions occurred during data transfer.

Input Errors

Displays the number of Input Errors occurred during data transfer.

Output Errors

Displays the number of Output Errors occurred during data transfer.


Note: In Tile view, click the  icon to view the associated links and interfaces.

Host Name

Displays the host name of the device. Click the hyperlink to view the Network Device Details.

IP Address

Displays the IP Address of the device.

Status

Displays the status of the device.

CPU Utilization

Displays the CPU utilization of the device. Double click to view the Device Details.

Memory Utilization

Displays the Memory utilization of the device. Double click to view the Device Details.

ACTIONS

This section explains all the icons displayed on the ACTIONS panel of the  NETWORK DEVICE VIEW page.

FILTERS

Click the FILTERS icon to specify a particular filter criteria to display the networks. On clicking the Filters icon, the FILTERS pop-up page is displayed. Select the Department and other required details. Click SUBMIT

The following table describes the fields on the FILTERS pop-up page:

FieldDescription
TenantLists the Tenants for which logged in user has access. Select a Tenant from the list.
SearchYou can search for the network devices by specifying the host name, serial number, primary IP address, Nat IP address, reference ids, and so on.
ViewLists the configured Views. Select the View from the list to display the Networks.
CustomerLists the configured Customers. Select the Customer from the list to display the Networks for the selected Customer.
LocationLists the configured Locations. Select the Location from the list to view the Networks for the selected Location.
CriticalityLists the configured Criticality values. Select the Criticality from the list to view the networks for the selected Criticality.
Ping ProtocolLists the configured ping protocols. Select the ping protocol from the list to view the  networks for the selected ping protocol.
Monitoring SourceLists the monitoring sources for the  networks. Select the monitoring source from the list to view the networks configured for the selected monitoring source.
SNMP VersionLists the SNMP versions for discovery. Select the SNMP version from the list to view the networks discovered with the selected SNMP version.
Service EntitlementLists the configured Service Entitlements. Select the Service Entitlement from the list to view the  networks for the selected service entitlement.
IOS typesLists the configured OS types. Select a OS type from the list to view the  networks for the selected OS type.
Network Device TypeLists the configured Network Device types. Select a Network Device type from the list to view the networks.
