The Asset Aging Ageing by Customer Report displays the age of the Assets used by different customers. For information about reports, see Viewing Reports.

The age of the Assets are represented by different colors in the bar graph. Click on any legend to remove the age range from the graph. On the table, click the link in the year column to view the Asset details.

ACTIONS

This section explains all the icons displayed on the ACTIONS panel of the ASSET AGING BY CUSTOMER REPORT page.

Filters

Click the Filters icon on the ACTIONS panel to specify the filter criteria to display records in the Software Inventory report. The FILTERS pop-up page is displayed. Select the required fields and click SUBMIT.
FILTERS pop-up pageImage Removed. You can use Assets Aging by Customer report to list all assets to a specific customer grouped by the number of years. Admin or Analyst can access the report based on access privileges assigned through roles.

The primary purpose of an Asset Ageing by Customer Report is to keep track of customer and the number of years they have been using the asset. A summarized report will have one grand total of number of years for each customer. The asset age will be broken into one year interval time duration. As the report displays both graphical and summary view on single page, it is fairly easy to understand.

Steps to access Asset Ageing by Customer Report
To view the Asset Ageing by Customer report, perform the following steps:

  1. Navigate to Reports > Asset Management > Asset Ageing by Customer Report.
    Click Filters.
    The Filters pop-up page is displayed.

  2. Enter or select the values for Filter fields as described in the Field Description table.

    Tenant

    Select the required Tenant from the drop-down list. For more information, see Configuring Tenant.

    Location

    Select the location from the LOCATION hierarchy tree. For more information, see Configuring Location.

    Category

    Select the Category from the list.

    Include In Store Asset

    Select the check box to include the Store Assets.

PRINT
  1. Click Submit.
    The Asset Ageing by Customer report is displayed. A sample screenshot is shown below. You get a graphical and tabular view of the report.

    You can view a graphical representation of customer name against asset count as shown below:

    Field Description

    x-axisDisplays the name of the customer.
    y-axisDisplays the count of the asset used by the relative customer.

    Download 

    Click the Download icon on the top-right corner of the report to download the report as JPEG, PNG, PDF, or SVG vector image. Available options are as follows:

    • Export as PNG
    • Export as JPG
    • Export as PDF
    • Export as SVG
    • Export as CSV

    You can view the tabular view of the report as shown below:

    Field Description
    Details
    CustomerDisplays the name to the customer to which the asset belongs to.
    Asset TypeDisplays the type of the asset.
    0-1 yr, 1-2 yr, 1-2 yr, 2-3 yr and so on

    Displays the time intervals in years. 

    Total

    Displays the total number of years for which a customer is using the asset. Click on the total count hyperlink to view category wise ageing of assets with information such as Category, Time Interval (in Years) and the count. A sample screenshot is shown below:

    Click on the count hyperlink to view the Asset Ageing details with information such as Asset ID, Category, Asset Store, Status, Allocation Type, Customer and so on.

    Click  to go back to the Category Wise Ageing page.

Click the Refresh Report Image Added to fetch latest details for the report. Any changes performed after the Reports page was loaded, will reflect if you click on Refresh Report Image Added.

You can perform following actions from the ACTIONS panel of the Asset Return Status report page.
