What's New?

New Monitoring Parameters are added to monitor Oracle Servers or Server Nodes. Several Parameters, such as Active Processes, Active Sessions, Active Users, Average Enqueue Timeouts, Average MTS Response Time, Average MTS Wait Time, Blocking Sessions, Buffer Cache Hit Ratio, Database File IO Reads, Database File IO Write Operations, Database FRA, Database User Expiry, Datafile Status, DB Block Corruption, DB File Recovery Status, Dictionary Cache Hit Ratio, Disk State, Disk group Size, and so on can be now monitored for the selected Oracle RAC Server/Server Nodes.

Configuration

  1. On the SERVICE ENTITLEMENT page (Operations > Configuration > General > Service Entitlement), select the Tenant and DeviceType as Server from the Filters pop-up.
  2. Click ADD NEW from the ACTIONS panel.
  3. Specify the Service Entitlement name.
  4. Select the required parameter’s check box and click box and click SUBMIT.
  5. Add an Oracle RAC Server/Server Node using Primary IP Address and Host Name on the ADD SERVER Specify the Oracle RAC Server/Server Node Name and user credentials to connect to a Server/ Server Node. For more information, see Adding Servers.
  6. On the APPLICATION PARAMETER THRESHOLD page, configure the Threshold values for Monitoring Parameters of the selected Oracle RAC Server/Server Node. For more information, see Configuring Application Server Threshold.
  7. On the CUSTOM SCHEDULER page, configure the job for monitoring the parameters of the selected Oracle RAC Server/Server Node. For more information, see Configuring Custom Scheduler.

  8. On the PERFORMANCE DASHBOARD page (Operations > User > Servers > Performance Dashboard), on the PERFORMANCE DASHBOARD page, select the Device Type as Server and Category as Oracle RAC.
  9. Select the required parameters to view the threshold details on the display panel.
