The License Compliance by Device Report shows the count of procured licenses and the count of device-based allocated and unallocated software installations. It also shows the usage of licenses. For information about

Admin or Analyst can access the report based on access privileges assigned through roles.

ACTIONS

This section explains all the icons displayed on the ACTIONS panel of the LICENSE COMPLIANCE BY DEVICE REPORT page.

Filters

Click the Filters icon on the ACTIONS panel to specify the filter criteria to display records in the License Compliance by Device Report.

PRINT TABLE

Click PRINT TABLE to print the displayed report records.

EXPORT TO EXCEL

Click EXPORT TO EXCEL to export the record displayed in the report to Microsoft ExcelSteps to access License Compliance By Device Report

To view the License Compliance By Device Report, perform the following steps:

  1. Navigate to Reports > Asset Management > License Compliance By Device Report.

  2. Click Filters on the ACTIONS panel to specify the filter criteria for generating the report.
    The FILTERS pop-up appears.

  3. Enter or select the values for Filter fields as described in the following table.

    Field Description
    DepartmentSelect the name of the department from the list. This is a mandatory field. For more information, see Department.
    Location

    Search or Select the Location. Click Image Addedicon to select a specific location. You may select any location in the hierarchy.

    PublisherSelect the specific publisher or publishers from the drop-down list for which you want to display the report.
    Include In-Store AssetsSelect the checkbox to include the In-Shore Assets details.
    Show Internal ComplianceSelect the checkbox to show the internal compliance. 
    Show Publisher ComplianceSelect the checkbox to show publisher compliance.
  4. Click SUBMIT.
    The License Compliance By Device Report is displayed.

    Field Description

    Field Description
    License Name

    Displays the name of the software license.

    Procured

    Displays the count of the license procured.

    Allocated

    Displays the count of the allocation.

    Total Usage

    Displays the total number of the licensed usage.

    In StockDisplays the count of the licenses that are in stock.
Click the Refresh Report Image Addedto fetch latest details for the report. Any changes performed after the Reports page was loaded, will reflect if you click on Refresh Report Image Added.

Prints the displayed report records.
