The Assets by Location report displays graphical and tabular report about the number of Assets in a particular location. You can further drill-down the report to view gives a comprehensive picture regarding the location-wise deployment of assets for a selected Tenant. Rich graphical views to view assets by location is available. The various graphical views using which you can analyze the location wise assets assigned are: Pie2D, Pie3D, Doughnut 2D, and Doughnut 3D.

With the help of Filters, Admin/analyst can get the asset deployment details in any hierarchy level of the location. Assets by Location report gives Location-wise and Store-wise Asset summary

Admin or Analyst can access the report based on access privileges assigned through roles.

Steps to access Assets By Location Report:

  1. Navigate to Reports

  1.  > Asset Management > Assets by Location Report.
  2. Click Filters on the Action panel to specify the filter criteria for generating the report.
    The FILTERS pop-up appears.

  3. Enter or select the values for Filter fields as described in the following table. 

    FieldDescription
    TenantSelect the Tenant from the list available. This is a mandatory field. For more details, view Tenant.
    Location

    Select the Location. Click Image Addedicon to select a specific location. You may select any location in the hierarchy

  4. Click SUBMIT.

    The Assets by Location report is displayed. You get a graphical and tabular view of the report.

In the graphical report, you get a concise view regarding the asset count pertaining to each sub location which is hierarchically under the selected location. For example, if the selected location in Filters is US Region, then the asset counts of sub-locations such as Texas, New York, California, and Washington that are configured under the main location US Region are displayed in the graphical view.  By default, the mode of display is 'Doughnut2D'.

Move the cursor to various sections on the bar graph. Each colored section on the displayed doughnut graph represents a sub-location under the selected main selection.

Click on any colored sub-section of the graph to display the asset details of the selected sub-location.

Again, you will get a graphical and tabular view of the asset counts of the sub-locations under the selected sub-location.

You can drill-down the graphical view until you reach a specific store under the selected location as in the following figure.

Click on the top-right corner of the report page to traverse back to the previous report page.

Click Chart Type drop-down on the top-right corner of any report page to select the mode of display of your choice from the available list of options.

Click the Download icon to download the report as JPEG, PNG, PDF, or SVG vector image

In the tabular report, you get a comprehensive view regarding the asset count pertaining to each sub location which is hierarchically under the selected location. For example, if the selected location in Filters is US Region, then the asset counts of sub-locations such as Texas, New York, California, Washington and Connecticut that are configured under the main location US Region are displayed in the tabular view.

Click any count hyperlink to view the location-wise summary of assets under the selected sub-location. You will get a graphical and tabular view of the asset count with respect to the selected sub-location.

In the above example, the selected sub-location New York has no further sub-locations configured under it. Click the count hyperlink of the store to display the asset count in the selected store. Again, you get a graphical and a tabular view.

Click any count hyperlink to view the list of assets in the selected status with respect to the selected store.

Click any Asset ID hyperlink to view the details of the selected asset.

Click the Refresh Report Image Addedto fetch latest details for the report. Any changes performed after the Reports page was loaded, will reflect if you click on Refresh Report Image Added.

ACTIONS

This section explains all the icons displayed on the ACTIONS panel of the ASSETS BY LOCATION REPORT page.

Filters
Click Filters to select the Tenant and the location for which you want to view the report. Based on the selected Tenant and location, the report is displayed.

PRINT

Click PRINT to print

Image Added

Prints the displayed report records.

EXPORT TO EXCEL

Click EXPORT TO EXCEL to export the record displayed in the report to Microsoft Excel

Exports the displayed records on the report page to a Microsoft Excel sheet.
