You can update multiple Assets using the Asset Import Template. You can also preview the Assets allocated to a Store.

To update Asset details:

  1. Select the Asset > User > Manage Asset > Asset Inventory.
  2. On the ASSET INVENTORY page under the SELECT THE ASSET TYPE section, click FIXED.
  3. On the FIXED ASSET page, the FILTERS pop-up page is displayed. Select the required details and click SUBMIT to view the list of Assets based on the filter criteria. For more information about fields on the FILTERS pop-up page, see Searching Assets.

    For Fixed Assets, the list of configured Fixed Asset details is displayed immediately after the page loads. You may specify a filter criteria based on your specific requirement. For more information about fields on the FILTERS pop-up page, see Searching Assets.

  4. The list of Assets based on the filter criteria is displayed. Click the Asset ID to view the Asset details. For more information, see Viewing Asset Details.
  5. Select the check box corresponding to the Asset you want to update. You should select only one Asset at a time. On the ACTIONS panel, click UPDATE.

  6. You can update the details of the selected Asset and click SUBMIT to save the changes. For more information about the GENERAL and RELATIONSHIP tabs, see Field Description.

Store

If required, update the new Store to which you want to add the Asset.

Data Template

If required, update the Data Template to populate fields under the GENERAL tab with the data available in the Template.

Asset Condition

If required, update the condition of the Asset.


RELATIONSHIP

You can link or unlink Contract(s) from the Asset using the Link or De-link option, respectively. When you link a Contract to the Asset, the Contract is displayed under the RELATIONSHIP tab.

To link a Contract to the Asset:

  1. Under the RELATIONSHIP tab, in the Link drop-down list, select Link Contract.
  2. On the RELATIONSHIP pop-up page, ensure that Link Contract is selected in the Relation drop-down list, and then click SEARCH. The list of Contracts are displayed.

  3. Select the Contract(s) that you want to link to the Asset, and then click LINK in the lower-right corner of the RELATIONSHIP pop-up page.

To unlink a Contract from the Asset:

  1. Select the Contract under the RELATIONSHIP tab, and then click De-Link.
