The License Compliance by Core/Processor allows access to software which is installed on core or processor for products licensed through per core or per processor model. This report displays the number of procured software licenses, valid software licenceslicenses, and the count of core-based allocated and unallocated software installations. It also displays the total number of software licenses that are used and the number of software licenses that are in stock. You can further drill-down the report to view the software installation details and the customer-wise software installation counts. For information about reports, see Viewing Reports.
. Admin or Analyst can access the report based on access privileges assigned through roles.

It is easy for Admin or Analyst to understand out of the procured licenses which are being optimally used. They can deduce useful data from this report like which License of Core is valid but is still unallocated. If Licenses are procured and valid but are still unallocated, then licenses can be reassigned to different teams. This will help save costs and plan budgets. and help utilize the valid licenses appropriately. |

Steps to access License Compliance by Core Report
1.Navigate to Reports > Asset Management > License Compliance by Core.
2.Click Filters on the Action panel to specify the filter criteria for generating the report. The criteria FILTERS pop-up appears.
3. Enter or select the values for Filter fields as described in the following table.
Field | Description |
Tenant* | Tenant is similar to department in an organization, example : Operations, IT. Select the Tenant name from the list. This is a mandatory field. For more information, see Configuring Tenants |
Location | Select the Floor Location. Click |
Publisher | The name of the software publisher, responsible for its development and distribution. Example: Microsoft, Cisco. |
Include In-Store Assets | Currently Available Assets. |
Show Internal Compliance | Standards set by the internal management of a company. |
Show Publisher Compliance | Standards set forth by external legal or regulatory authorities. |
4. Click SUBMIT.

This section explains all the icons displayed on the ACTIONS panel of the LICENSE COMPLIANCE BY CORE/PROCESSOR page.
Filters
Click Filters icon on the ACTIONS panel to specify the filter criteria to display records in the License Compliance by Core/Processor.

PRINT TABLE
Click PRINT TABLE to print the displayed report records.
EXPORT TO EXCEL
Click EXPORT TO EXCEL to export the record displayed in the report to a Microsoft Excel sheet..

Few of the fields that are present in the report are explained in the following table.
| Field | Description |

| Procured | The number of Licenses purchased. |
| Valid License | The number of valid (without expiry) Licenses. |
| Allocated | The number of assigned licenses out of Procured. |
| Unallocated | The number of unassigned licenses out of Procured. |
| In Stock | The number of licenses currently available. This is calculated based on difference between Procured licenses and Allocated / Unallocated licenses. |
| Asset ID | Unique integer code particular to asset. Example: 3548 |
| Asset Code | Unique Character prefixed to Asset ID. Example : SOFT/3548 |
6. Click hyperlink in the column Unallocated of License compliance by Core Report - to view a detailed report.

Click the Refresh Report 
to fetch latest details for the report. Any changes performed after the Reports page was loaded, will reflect if you click on Refresh Report
