Feature released in SummitAI Service Management (#17969, CMDB, Alps)

What's New?

CI Relations indicate the relationship between multiple Configuration Items (CIs). This is required to identify the inter-dependencies between two or more CIs, which in turn helps in easy identification of a cause of failure, failure impact, and better proactive recovery planning.

To provide a better context and understanding about the CI relationship, the following enhancements are done on the RELATIONSHIP pop-up page of the CONFIGURATION ITEM ID page.

  • Upon double-clicking a CI, it's immediate child/peer CI(s) is expanded and displayed that helps the users to understand all the relationships of a CI.

A new context menu is added that is displayed on right-clicking on the RELATIONSHIP canvas. Following are the newly added menu options:

  • View CI Details: The user is directed to the Details page of the selected CI to view the CI details.
  • Close Menu: Click to close the context menu pan.
