Page Comparison

The License Compliance by User Report displays the number of procured software licenses, valid software licences, and the count of user-based allocated and unallocated software installations. It also displays the total number of software licenses that are used and the number of software licenses that are in stock. You can further drill-down the report to view the user-based internal and publisher compliance details. 

Admin or Analyst can access the report based on access privileges assigned through roles.

Steps to access License Compliance By User Report

To view the License Compliance By User Report, perform the following steps:

1. Navigate to Reports > Asset Management > License Compliance By User Report.
   
   
2. Click Filters on the ACTIONS panel to specify the filter criteria for generating the report.
   The FILTERS pop-up appears.

3. Enter or select the values as describe in the following table.
   
   

   Field	Description
   Department	Select the name of the department from the list. This is a mandatory field. For more information, see Department.
   Location	Search or Select the Location. Click icon to select a specific location. You may select any location in the hierarchy.
   Publisher	Select the specific publisher or publishers from the drop-down list for which you want to display the report.
   Include In-Store Assets	Select the checkbox to include the in-store assets.
   Show Internal Compliance	Select the checkbox to display the internal compliance.
   Show Publisher Compliance	Select the checkbox to display the publisher's compliance.

4. Click SUBMIT.
   The License Compliance By User Report is displayed.

   Field Description

   Field	Description
   License Name	Displays the name of the license.
   Procured	Displays the number of licenses procured.  Expand title Screenshot Figure: Procured License
   Valid License	Displays the count of licenses that are valid.
   Unallocated	Displays the count of unallocated licenses. Expand title Screenshot Figure: Unallocated Licenses
   In Stock	Displays the count of in stock.
   Total Usage	Displays the total count of license usage.  Expand title Screenshot Figure: Total License Usage

Click the Refresh Report to fetch latest details for the report. Any changes performed after the Reports page was loaded, will reflect if you click on Refresh Report .
