You can view the list of Accessories that are available for allocation and allocate them to users.
To allocate Accessories:
Select Asset > User > Manage Asset > Asset Inventory.
- Under the SELECT THE ASSET TYPE section of the ASSET INVENTORY page, click ACCESSORIES. The ACCESSORIES page is displayed.
On the ACTIONS panel of the ACCESSORIES page, click Filters and specify the filter criteria on the FILTERS pop-up page. Select In Store as the value of Status field and click SUBMIT. The list of Assets based on the filter criteria is displayed. For more information about fields on the FILTERS pop-up page, see Searching Assets.
Note title Note: To view the location hierarchy in the Store Location column, select the Location Hierarchy check box under the General Configuration section on the Application Settings page. For more information, see Application Settings By Tenant.
- Click the Asset ID to view the Asset details. For more information, see Viewing Asset Details.
Select the corresponding Asset check box to allocate the accessory and click ALLOCATE TO ASSET or ALLOCATE TO USER under the ACTIONS panel.

The following table describes the fields for the ALLOCATE TO ASSET and ALLOCATE TO USER pages.
Fields | Description |
---|---|
User | Type in and search the User's name to allocate the accessory to the selected User. |
Allocated Date | Select the date from the calendar. If the Set Present Date as Asset Allocation Date check box is selected on the TENANT page, the Allocated Date becomes the present date and you cannot change it. For more information, see Configuring Asset Management Module. |
Reporting Manager | Displays the Reporting Manager of the selected user. Note: The Reporting Manager attribute is displayed on the allocation form only when the Allocate To value is Single User, Contract User or Multiple User. |
Alternate Supervisor | Type in the name of the Alternate Supervisor. The matching names from the database are displayed in the list. Select an appropriate name from the list. To search for an Alternate Supervisor, click the Search icon. Note: The Alternate Supervisor attribute is displayed on the allocation form only when the Allocate To value is Single User, Contract User or Multiple User. |
Quantity | Specify the quantity of the Asset. |
Remarks | Provide your remarks. |
Request Type | Select the Request Type from the drop-down list. The available Request Type options are:

Request ID | Specify an unique ID for this request. Note:

Allocation Type | Select the type of allocation.

Return Date | If you want to allocate the selected accessory on a temporary basis, select the expected return date from the calendar. |
