What's New?
Various UI changes and enhancements are made related to CMDB as a part of the Denali SP1 release.
UI Changes
SummitAI team is always working on improving the User Experience of the Application. As a part of that initiative, the following pages are given a face lift to improve the look and feel of the Application:
- New Configuration Item page. For more information, see Adding Configuration Items.

Figure: CI ID page - Horizontal nice-scroll is provided on the CONFIGURATION ITEM LIST page to scroll through all the columns on the List page.

- Hand cursor is provided to select the uploaded Source file on the IMPORT CONFIGURATION ITEMS page.

Enhancements
- On the FORM BUILDER page, the User control icon is provided for the ADDITIONAL INFORMATION and CUSTOM TABS of the CMDB. For more information, see Configuring Custom Fields for CMDB.
Figure: FORM BUILDER page - On the HARDWARE VARIANCE DETAILS pop-up page, the column names are changed from CI Management Data to CMDB Data, and Actual Inventory Data to Actual Discovered Data.
- The following improvements and new enhancements are made on the Services detail page. For more information, see Adding Services.
- Look and feel of the Services page is changed.
- An Export to Excel icon is provided to export the CIs displayed on the page to a Microsoft Excel Sheet. This helps the Analyst to export the CIs in bulk.
- A hyperlink is provided for CI ID to open the CI on the same page to display the CI details.
Figure: Services page - Now, you can update the Hardware or Software variance without creating a CR. The CREATE CHANGE RECORD button is not available now when the Edit CIs Without CR check box is enabled on the TENANT page.
