Now, the users can view the alert configured for the CR using the ALERT CONFIGURATION option (Change > User > Change Record List > Click CR NO > Click ALERT CONFIGURATION on the ACTIONS panel) under the BULLETIN BOARD section of the USER DASHBOARD page. 

Business Benefits

  • Helps the end user to view the CR related alerts from End User Dashboard.

Use Cases

Consider a network device-related CR implementation. During the implementation, the devices need to switch off and the network will not be available.

In this case, you can notify the users about the network unavailability by configuring an alert and added to Bulletin Board.

How it works?

To add alert to Bulletin Board, perform the following steps:

  1. Click Change > User > Change Record List. The Change Record List page.
  2. Click the required CR NO. The CHANGE RECORD DETAILS page is displayed.
  3. Click ALERT CONFIGURATION on the ACTIONS panel.
  4. Select the Add to Bulletin Board check box.
  5. Specify the hours in the Display Alert Hours Before Planned Start Time.
  6. Type in the information to be displayed on the Bulletin Board in the Additional Alert Information To Be Shown field.
  7. Click SAVE.

    Note:

    Once the Planned End Time is crossed, the alert will be disabled from the Bulletin Board. Also, if a CR is closed before Planned End Time, the alert will be disabled from the Bulletin Board.
