The Audit Discovery Report displays a tabular report about the discovered Assets based on the Scan Name, Scan Type, Scan Source, and other filter criteria. You can view the detailed discovery information about an Asset by clicking the hyperlink in the Serial Number column.

Admin or Analyst can access the report based on access privileges assigned through roles.

 Additional Information

This report is primarily designed to display the gaps or risks with insightful recommendations for change and the Depreciation details based on the pre-configured as well as Custom Depreciation Formula.

Steps to Access Audit Discovery Report

To view the Audit Discovery Report, perform the following steps:

  1. Navigate to Reports > Asset Management > Audit Discovery Report.

  2. Click FILTERS.
    The FILTERS pop-up page is displayed.

  3. Enter or select the values as describe in the following table.

    Field

    Description

    Tenant

    Tenant is similar to department in an organization, example : Operations, IT. Select the Tenant name from the list. This is a mandatory field. For more information, see Configuring Tenants.

    Scan Type

    Select the type of the scan. By default, option All is selected. This is a mandatory field.

    Scan Name

    Select the name of the scan. By default, option All is selected. This is a mandatory field.

    System Type

    Select the type of the system. By default, option All is selected. This is a mandatory field.

    Scan Source

    Select the source of the scan. By default, option All is selected. This is a mandatory field.

    Model Number

    Select the number of the model. By default, option All is selected. This is a mandatory field.

    CPU Type

    Select the type of the CPU. By default, option All is selected. This is a mandatory field.

    LAST COMMUNICATED

    From 

    Select the From date from the Calendar function.

    To

    Select the To date from the Calendar function.

    Group Name

    Select the name of the group.

    Search By

    Select the criteria option to search the last communication. 

    Search Pattern

    Select the pattern of the search.

  4. Click Submit.
    The Audit Discovery Report result is displayed.

    Host Name

    Displays the name of the host.

    IP Address 

    Displays the IP address.

    Serial Number 

    Displays the serial numbers. Click the serial number hyperlink to view the complete details.

Click the Refresh Report to fetch latest details for the report. Any changes performed after the Reports page was loaded, will reflect if you click on Refresh Report .

ACTIONS

You can perform following actions from the ACTIONS panel of the AUDIT DISCOVERY REPORT page.

Icon

Action

Prints the displayed report records.

Exports the displayed records on the page to a Microsoft Excel sheet.

Exports the complete list of report records to a Microsoft Excel sheet.
