On the PASSWORD EXPIRY CONFIGURATION page, you can configure password expiry details.

To configure password expiry:

  1. Select Admin > Advanced > Password Management > Password Expiry Configuration. The PASSWORD EXPIRY CONFIGURATION page is displayed. Click ADD NEW under ACTIONS panel.
  2. On the PASSWORD EXPIRY CONFIGURATION page, specify the required details. For more information about the fields on this page, see Field Description.
  3. Click SUBMIT. The password expiry configuration details is added.

Field Description

The following table describes the fields on the PASSWORD EXPIRY CONFIGURATION page.

Path

Specify the path of the domain.

User Name

This field is auto-populated.

Password

This field is auto-populated.

Notify (in Days) Before Password Expires

Specify the number of days from which the User will receive notification before password expires.

Note:

The No. of days can be specified in two formats. For example:


  • If the user specifies value as '20', he will be notified each day since 20 days before password expiry.
  • If the user specifies value as '20,10,5', he will be notified on the 20th, 10th and 5th day before password expiry.

Notify (in Days) After Password Expires

Specify the number of days till which the User will receive notification after password expires.

Mail Subject

Specify the subject of the notification e-mail.

Mail Content

Specify the content of the notification e-mail.

Enable SSL

Select the checkbox to enable SSL.

Active

Indicates the status for the password expiry configuration:

  • If selected, the password expiry configuration is active.
  • If cleared, the password expiry configuration is inactive.

ACTIONS

This section explains all the icons displayed on the ACTIONS panel of the PASSWORD EXPIRY CONFIGURATION page.

SHOW LIST

Click SHOW LIST to display the LIST table, showing all the configured password expiry details in the SummitAI application.

  • To edit password expiry configuration details, click the OU Path. Make the required changes and click SUBMIT.
  • To display the inactive password expiry configuration details, select the Include Inactive check box.

    Note:

    When the password expiry configuration details are displayed under the LIST table, the ADD NEW action is displayed on the ACTIONS panel. Click ADD NEW to add a new password expiry configuration details.

Password E-mail Audit Log

The PASSWORD E-MAIL AUDIT LOG page provides Users (Subscribers) a record of the E-mails triggered by the SummitAI application on Password Expiry or any course of Password change.

To view Password related e-mails:

  1. Select Admin > Advanced > Password Management > Password E-mail Audit Log. The PASSWORD E-MAIL AUDIT LOG page is displayed.
  2. On the LIST section, all the password expiry or password change related e-mails are listed. Click More in E-mail Body column to view the e-mail content. For more details, see Field Description.

Field Description

The following table describes the fields on the PASSWORD E-MAIL AUDIT LOG page:

User Name

User Name of the password expiry or change e-mail recipient is displayed.

Recipient E-mail ID

E-mail address of the recipient is displayed.

E-mail Subject

Subject of the e-mail is displayed.

E-mail Body

Content of the E-mail is displayed.

E-mail Delivery Date

Delivery date of the password expiry or password change E-mail is displayed

ACTIONS

This section explains all the icons displayed on the ACTIONS panel of the PASSWORD E-MAIL AUDIT LOG page.

FILTERS

Specify a filter criterion to generate the report of the E-mails sent for password expiry or password change. Specify the Notification Type, User Name, and E-mail Delivery Date.

  • Password Expiry Notification: Select Password Expiry Notification to view the list of e-mails sent to notify the user before the password expiry.
  • Acknowledge Notification: Select Acknowledge Notification to view the list of e-mails sent after changing the password.

EXPORT TO EXCEL

Click EXPORT TO EXCEL to export and download the data to a Microsoft excel sheet. This icon is available only on the Preview tab.

EXPORT ALL

Click EXPORT ALL to export and download all the records to a Microsoft excel sheet.

Creating AD Property

This feature enables the User to configure new AD Property for the ACCOUNT MANAGEMENT page.

To Create AD Property:

  1. Select Admin > Advanced > Password Management > AD Property. the LIST section of the AD PROPERTY page is displayed.
  2. On the ACTIONS panel, click ADD NEW. The AD PROPERTY page is displayed.

  3. On the AD PROPERTY page, specify the required information and click SUBMIT. For more information about the fields on the AD PROPERTY page, see FIELD DESCRIPTION.

FIELD DESCRIPTION

The following table describes the fields on the AD PROPERTY page:

Description

Domain

Select the domain name from drop-down list.

AD Property Name

Specify the AD Property Name to be mentioned in the master table.

Display Name

Specify the name to be displayed on the ACCOUNT MANAGEMENT page.

Table Name

Specify the filed name to be updated in the User List page.

Column Name

Specify the name of the column in the User Master table.

Is Mandatory

If selected, the AD Property becomes mandatory.

Is Editable

If selected, the AD Property becomes editable.

Active

If selected, the AD Property becomes Active.

ACTIONS

SHOW LIST

Click SHOW LIST to view the list of AD Properties added.

ADD NEW

Click ADD NEW to add a new AD Property.
