The Holiday List is the list of holidays set by an organization and may be also specific to a particular location. It is important to set the Holiday List as it helps to calculate SLA response and SLA resolution for escalations and also to check the availability of Workgroups. By default, the application considers the declared Holiday list for calculating SLAs. You can add, modify, or delete Holidays.

To add a Holiday:

  1. Select Admin > Advanced > Productivity > Holiday.
  2. On the HOLIDAY page, click ADD NEW.
  3. Type in the new Holiday details. For information about the fields on the HOLIDAY page, see Field Description.
  4. Click SUBMIT. A new Holiday is added.

Field Description

The following table describes the fields on the HOLIDAY page:

DETAILS

DomainSelect the Domain from drop-down for which you want to configure Holiday.

Holiday Date

Select the date that you want to add as a Holiday.

Location

Select the location for which the Holiday will be applicable.

Holiday Description

Type in a description for the Holiday. For example, Christmas for 25th December.

ACTIONS

This section explains all the icons displayed on the ACTIONS panel of the HOLIDAY page.

SHOW LIST

Click SHOW LIST to display the LIST table showing all the Holidays configured in the SummitAI application for the selected year.

  • To edit a Holiday, click the Holiday Date. Make appropriate changes and click SUBMIT.
  • To delete a Holiday, click the Delete icon next to the Holiday.

Note:

When the Holidays are displayed under the LIST table, the ADD NEW action is displayed on the ACTIONS panel. Click ADD NEW to add a new Holiday.

Note:

The Filters icon enables you to set the filter criteria to view year-wise holiday list.

IMPORT HOLIDAYS

Click IMPORT HOLIDAYS to import the Holiday Excel to update the Holiday List.To import the Holiday Excel:

  1. Select Admin > Advanced > Productivity > Holiday.
  2. On the EXCEL IMPORT HOLIDAY page, under GENERAL tab, select the required options and upload the updated Holiday Excel.

  3. Click SUBMIT. A table listing uploaded Holiday Excel sheet is displayed. Select the sheet to import the Holiday. For information about the fields under the GENERAL tab, see Field Description.

  4. A table listing mapped data from the template in the Source field and the attributes in the Destination field is displayed. Select the required options if not already selected. For information about the fields under the MAPPING tab, see Field Description. Click NEXT.

  5. A table listing all the added Holidays are displayed under PREVIEW For information about fields under the PREVIEW tab, see Field Description.

Field Description

The following table describes the fields on the EXCEL IMPORT page:

GENERAL Tab
SourceClick the Upload icon to upload an appropriate file. After you upload a file and click SUBMIT, a Select a sheet to import the Holiday table listing uploaded file is displayed. Select the sheet from which you want to import.
MAPPING TabThis tab displays the list of fields with its mapping result. If the Destination and Source are matching based on the Datatype, it indicates that the field is mapped. Select the appropriate value in the Source field, if the fields are not correctly mapped, you will see Mismatch indication in the preview.
PREVIEW TabDisplays the mapped values. If a field has invalid data, an error message is displayed, and the mismatch data type is highlighted in red color. Duplicate Details message is displayed if data is repeated in the excel sheet. Click the arrow to view the serial numbers of duplicated Holidays.
