The Assets By User Report provides detailed information about the Assets allocated to a specific user or multiple users. Admin or Analyst can access the report based on the access privileges assigned through roles.

 Additional Information

The following information is available from this report: 

  • The count of Fixed Assets allocated to a selected user(s) as per Asset Category, Floor, and Location of the Asset.
  • The count of Consumable and Accessories allocated to the user(s)
  • The count and license details of allocated Software Assets for the user(s)
  • The count and license details of the allocated Software for the user(s) by device

From this report page, Analyst or Admin can also print the allocation form of assets to the specific user(s) by selecting appropriate option in the Filters section of Action panel.

This report gives a comprehensive view of all the assets and the corresponding details allocated to a specific user(s). This helps an Analyst or Admin for a quick and easy double-check on the list of assets allocated to a specific user.

Steps to access Assets By User Report

To view the Assets By User Report, perform the following steps:

  1. Navigate to Reports > Asset Management > Assets by User Report.
  2. Click Filters on the Action panel to specify the filter criteria for generating the report.
    The FILTERS pop-up appears.

  3. Enter or select the values for Filter fields as described in the following table. 

    FieldDescription
    TenantSelect the Tenant from the list available. This is a mandatory field. For more details, view Tenant.
    Action Type

    This is a mandatory selection. Two options are available.

    • View Asset Details - Select this option to view the Asset Details by clicking the Asset ID on the ASSET LIST pop-up page. 
    • Print Allocation Form - Select this option to view and print the User Allocation Form by clicking the Asset ID on the ASSET LIST pop-up page. 
    User

    Select a User. Click  to search for a specific user. This is a mandatory field.

  4. Click SUBMIT. 
    The Assets by User Report is displayed.     You get a tabular view of the report.

Assets by User Report

Click any count hyperlink in the Assets by User Report to display the list of allocated assets in the selected asset category. The details such as Asset ID, Asset Code, Status - Sub Status info, and so on of the asset(s) allocated to the specific user are displayed in the Asset List pop-up page.

Click any Asset ID hyperlink in the ASSET LIST pop-up page. This displays either Asset Details or Asset Allocation Form as per the selection of Action Type in the Filters.

Click the Refresh Report to fetch latest details for the report. Any changes performed after the Reports page was loaded, will reflect if you click on Refresh Report .

ACTIONS

You can perform following actions from the ACTIONS panel of the Assets by User report page.

IconAction

Exports the displayed records on the report page to a Microsoft Excel sheet.

 Displays the allocation form displaying all the Assets allocated to the selected user. Click Print to print the ASSET ALLOCATION FORM.
