Configuring Notifications and Templates

You can configure the E-mail Notifications, Bar code Templates, and other Templates. You can configure the E-mail Notification details, such as From Name, From E-mail ID, and so on. You can configure Bar code details for the selected Category.

To configure Notifications and Templates:

Select Asset > Configuration > Asset Masters > Notifications and Templates.
On the NOTIFICATIONS AND TEMPLATES page, you can configure the E-mail Notifications under the EMAIL NOTIFICATION tab, Bar code Templates under the BARCODE TEMPLATE tab, and you can edit or update a Template under the EDIT/ UPDATE TEMPLATE tab. Click SUBMIT. The Notifications and Templates are configured.

Field Description

Under the EMAIL NOTIFICATION tab, you can specify details, such as Tenant, From Name, From Email ID, and so on.

The following table describes the fields under the EMAIL NOTIFICATION tab:

Tenant	Select the Tenant from the list.
From Name	Specify the From Name to send the E-mail Notifications.
From Email ID	Specify the From E-mail address to send the E-mail Notifications.
Active	Indicates the status set for Tenant configuration. If selected, the E-mail Notification becomes active. If not selected, the E-mail Notification becomes inactive. To view the list of inactive E-mail Notifications, you must select the Include Inactive check box.
Email Notification	Click the From Name hyperlink to modify the respective e-mail notification details.

Under the BARCODE TEMPLATE tab, you can configure Barcode Template details for a Category.

The following table describes the fields under the BARCODE TEMPLATE tab:

Tenant	Select the Tenant from the drop-down list.
Category	Select the Category from the drop-down list.
Store	Select the Store from the drop-down list.
Default Template	Select the default Barcode template from the drop-down list.
Space Between Barcode Label	Specify the maximum distance between two Barcode labels in pixels unit.
No. of Label Per Row	Specify the number of Barcode labels that can be contained in a row.
Space Before Right Label	Specify the space that should be kept before the right Barcode label in pixels unit.
Barcode Type	Select the Barcode type from the drop-down list. If you select QR Code, the QR Code Size field is displayed.
QR Code Size	Specify the size of the QR code in pixels unit.
Barcode Text	Type in the text that should appear in the Barcode.
Printer Label Settings	Type in the Printer Settings for the Barcode label. Based on these settings, the appearance of the Barcode label is displayed on the PRINT BARCODE pop-up page. For more information about printing the Barcode, see Printing Asset Barcode. You can edit the settings to get the Barcode appearance as you prefer.
Active	Select the Active check box to specify the Barcode Template as active. If it is not selected, the specified Barcode Template is inactive and is not enabled for an Asset.
Phrases	Displays the phrases and description.
Show HTML	Click the Show HTML hyperlink to view the HTML format for the specified text in the bar code template designer. You can view the specified text by clicking the Show Editor hyper link.
Barcode Template Details	Displays the list of configured barcode template details. Click the Category Name hyperlink to modify the respective bar code details.

Under the EDIT/ UPDATE TEMPLATE tab, you can provide view and edit access for the fields on the UPDATE ASSET page.

The following table describes the fields under the EDIT/ UPDATE TEMPLATE tab:

Template Name	Select the Template name from the list. Select Add New option from the list box to create a new Template. Type in the Template name in the text box.
Tenant	Select the Tenant from the list.
Category	Select the Category from the list.
Active	Indicates the status set for the Template. If selected, the Template is enabled to display in the Template Name list. If not selected, the Template will be a inactive.
Fixed Fields	Displays the fixed fields displayed on the UPDATE ASSET page. Select the check box corresponding to the field to provide edit access for the field. Select the Editable check box to provide edit access to all the fixed fields.
Dynamic Attribute Fields	Displays the dynamic attribute fields on the UPDATE ASSET page. Select the check box corresponding to the field to provide edit access for the field. Select the Editable check box to provide edit access to all the fixed fields.
Role Template Details	The configured Role Templates are listed in this section. Click the Template Name hyperlink to edit the Role Template.
