License Key Mapping_AM

You can map the license keys to a Product. In the case of actual inventory data of a software name with configured license key can be mapped to a group and move it from a non?compliance data to a compliance data by mapping the licensed software name to a software group.

Viewing License Key Mapping

Select Asset > Configuration > Software > License Mapping.
On the LICENSE MAPPING page, click the PRODUCT MAPPING tab.
Click the Filters icon on the ACTIONS panel. On the FILTERS pop-up page is displayed. Select the Tenant and License Name and click SUBMIT to display list of mapped products. For more information about fields and icons on the FILTERS pop-up page, see Filters.
Table listing mapped products for license matching the filter criteria is displayed under the PRODUCT MAPPING tab. For more information about fields and icons on the LICENSE MAPPING page, see Field Description.

Mapping Products with the Licenses Manually

To map Licenses manually, click the Filters icon, select the Tenant, License Name, and type in the product name you want to map in the Product Name field.
Click SUBMIT. A list of unmapped Products is displayed in the PRODUCT LIST table.
A list of mapped Products is displayed in the MAPPED PRODUCT FOR LICENSE table.
Select the check box for the Product that you want map and click SUBMIT. The mapped Product is added to the MAPPED PRODUCT FOR LICENSE table.

Unmap a Product

To unmap a mapped Product, click the Delete icon against the Product.

Field description

The following table describes the fields under the PRODUCT MAPPING tab of the LICENSE MAPPING page:

Field	Description
PRODUCT LIST
Select	Select one or more Products to map with the selected License.
Product Name	Displays the product names.
License Key	Displays the name of license key for the product.
MAPPED PRODUCT FOR LICENSE	Displays the list of mapped Products.
Delete	Click the Delete icon to unmap the Product.
Product Name	Displays the mapped product names.
Auto Mapped	Indicates the mode of mapping. True: Indicates that the Product is mapped using auto mapping mode. False: Indicates that the Product is mapped using manual mapping mode.

Software Mapping

You can view the mapped software list and map the unmapped software list to a software group name. For more information about Software Mapping, see Software License Mapping.

ACTIONS

Filters

Click the Filters icon to specify a particular filter criteria to display the Mapped/Unmapped products. On clicking the Filters icon, the FILTERS pop-up page is displayed. The following table describes the fields on the FILTERS page:

The following table describes the fields on the FILTERS pop-up page:

Field	Description
Tenant	Lists all the configured Tenant. Select a Tenant from the list.
License Name	Lists all the configured License names. Select a License name from the list.
Product Name	Type in the product name or a part of the product name to search the product list. You can leave this field blank. You can also use the wildcard search '%'.
Display Unmapped Products	Select this check box to view the unmapped products.
