You can add New Virtual Machines from SUMMIT Application to your Azure account.
To add new Virtual Machines:
- Click Operations > Configuration > Cloud Management > Virtual Machines. The VIRTUAL MACHINE LIST page is displayed.
- On the VIRTUAL MACHINE LIST page, click ADD NEW on the ACTIONS panel. The NEW VIRTUAL MACHINE page is displayed.
Click FILTERS and select the Tenant and Cloud Type from the drop-down list and click SUBMIT. To know more about the fields on the FILTERS pop-up page, see Filters.
On the BASIC tab of the DETAILS section, fill in the required details and click NEXT. For more information about the fields on Basic tab, see Field Description.

The following table describes the fields on the Basic tab of the NEW VIRTUAL MACHINE page:
Field
Description
Virtual Machine Name
Specify the name of the Virtual Machine.
Template
You can select an existing template to use the same configuration as in the template.
Location
Select the required location from the drop-down list.
Subscription
Select the subscription from the drop-down list.
To add a new subscription, click and provide the following details. Click ADD.- Directory ID: Specify the Directory ID you receive from your Azure portal (Azure Portal > Azure Active Directory > Properties).
- Application ID: Specify the Application ID from your Azure porta (Azure Portal > Azure Active Directory > App Registration > Application > Properties).
- API Access Key: Specify the API Access key that you have created in your Azure portal (Azure Portal > Azure Active Directory > App Registration > Application > Keys).
Resource Group
Select the Resource Group from the drop-down list. To add a new Resource Group, specify the name.
OS Type
Select the OS Type from the drop-down list and their corresponding version.
User Name: Specify the user name.
Password: Specify the required password.
Confirm Password: Re enter the password to confirm.To E-mail ID
Specify Mail ID to receive an E-mail Notification when a VM is created. The user creating the Virtual machine receives a copy of the mail.
On the CONFIGURATION tab of the DETAILS section, fill in the required details and click SUBMIT. For more information about the fields on Configuration tab, see FIELD DESCRIPTION.

The following table describes the fields on the CONFIGURATION tab of the NEW VIRTUAL MACHINE page:
Field
Description
Use Managed Disk
Yes: Enable this feature to have Azure automatically manage the availability of disks to provide data redundancy
and fault tolerance, without creating and managing storage accounts on your own. Managed disks may not be available in all regions.
No: Specify the Storage Name and select a Replication Type from the drop-down list.
Replication: The data in your Azure storage account is always replicated to ensure durability and high availability. Choose a replication strategy that matches your durability requirements. Some settings can't be changed after the storage account is created
Boot Diagnostics
Capture serial console output and screen shots of the virtual machine running on a host to help diagnose startup issues.
Public IP
Use a public IP address if you want to communicate with the virtual machine from outside the virtual network.
ACTIONS
This section explains all the icons displayed on the ACTIONS panel of the NEW VIRTUAL MACHINE page.
Filters
Click the Filters icon to display the records for a particular tenant.

Click VM LIST to view the VIRTUAL MACHINE LIST page showing all the configured Virtual Machines for the selected Tenant.

Click RESOURCE LIST to view the RESOURCE LIST page showing all the configured resources for the selected Tenant.
