SUMMIT Software Center

You can configure account mapping for the users to allow them for remote installation of software and script execution on End-user's systems.

To configure logon user for Software Installation:

  1. Select Asset > Configuration > Mapping > Account Mapping. The ACCOUNT MAPPING page is displayed.

  2. On the ACTIONS panel of the ACCOUNT MAPPING page, click ADD NEW.

  3. Select the Tenant at the left pane.

  4. Under the DETAILS section of ACCOUNT MAPPING page, specify all the required information. To know more about the fields on the ACCOUNT MAPPING page, see Field Description.

  5. Click SUBMIT.

The following table describes the fields on the ACCOUNT MAPPING page:

DETAILS

Mapping Type

Select the mapping type from the drop-down list.

  • All (Default user for all IP ranges): Provides the access of all the users.
  • Specify the IP Address Range: Provides the access of users within a particular IP range.
  • Domain: Provides access of the users from a domain configured on DOMAIN CONFIGURATION page. to know more, see Configuring Domain.

Fully Qualified Domain Name (FQDN)

Select the domain configured on DOMAIN CONFIGURATION page.

Enable IP Range

Select the check box to specify the IP range of the users.

From IP Address and To IP Address

Specify the IP range of the users.

Execution Account

Select the execution account to provide access to install software and script execution, remotely.

ACTIONS

This section explains all the icons displayed on the ACTIONS panel of the ACCOUNT MAPPING page:

SHOW LIST

Click SHOW LIST to display the LIST table showing all the user accounts configured for software installation in the SUMMIT application. To delete a configured user account for software installation, click the Delete icon.
