What is Gold Image?

The SummitAI Gold Image comprises all the base configurations for 8 modules, such as Incident Management, Service Request Management, Service Catalog Management, Problem Management, Change Management, Knowledge Management, Release Management, and Asset Management. Using the Gold Image, organizations can import the predefined process templates and spin out instances immediately.  This creates productivity savings along with a significant reduction in implementation efforts.

How to Access Gold Image Configurations?

The Gold Image configurations are part of the Gold Template in the SummitAI application.

To access the Gold Image configurations: 

  1. Select Admin > Basic > Infrastructure > Export/Import > Import Configurations By Template.

  2. Select the Vertical. Select the Template as Gold. Select the Module. Click SEARCH.

  3. The Gold Image template configurations are displayed. 

How to Import Gold Image Configurations?

To import Gold Image configurations:

  1. Select Admin > Basic > Infrastructure > Export/Import > Import Configurations By Template.

  2. Select the Vertical. Select the Template as Gold. Select the Module. Click SEARCH.

  3. The Gold Image template configurations are displayed. Select or unselect the configuration and values as per the organization's requirements.

4. Click APPLY. Specify the name of the Template and select the Tenant for which you want to import and apply these configurations. Click SUBMIT. A confirmation message is displayed.

 

Selecting/Unselecting Configurations and Values

The Administrators can select/unselect the configurations and values they want in their template using the check boxes next to the configurations.

Saving New Templates

The Administrators can select the configurations and the values they require and save them as new templates. The saved templates appear in the Template drop-down list. The saved templates can be applied to different Tenants.

Updating Existing Templates

The templates can be modified and applied to different Tenants. Select the Vertical, Template, and Module. Click SEARCH. Make the required changes and click SAVE. An existing template is changed.

What Happens Next?

The configurations imported from the Gold Image are available to the selected Tenant. For example, as per the above screenshot, out of 7 Pending Reasons from the Gold Image, 5 Pending Reasons are imported for the Incident Management module of the IT Tenant. The Administrators do not require to add these configurations one by one, instead, the configuration set can be imported and applied to Tenants.
