What does EOL for the SummitAI products mean to me as a customer? | If you are not using this module/feature, it is just a regular product cycle of announcements about an end-of-product feature/module from the overall SummitAI Product offerings. |
What would be the impact, if I am consuming any of this product module or feature? | All the existing customers with active contracts/subscriptions will continue to get support (bug fixes). You can connect with our Sales or Account managers to discuss your current & future plans which may impact due to this announcement, our teams will be happy to discuss and assist you further. |
Will I get new features developed on these product(s) or module(s) in future? | No. There won't be any new developments on these module(s) or products(s). However, we are happy to have a conversation to understand the impact & your plans to further support you in the best possible way. The best-recommended action to do at this moment for you is to reach out to our sales or account managers team for a detailed discussion. |
In case, I’ve any queries on the features of these discontinued modules, will SummitAI answer those queries? | Yes, as long as you have an active subscription & contract with SummitAI on those modules & features. |
In case, I find any bug in one of the discontinued modules, will SummitAI fix those bugs & release patches for them | Yes. SummitAI will continue to support all the active subscriptions signed up with these discontinued modules & features. |
In case, I need some configuration help for the discontinued modules, will SummitAI help with the configurations? | Yes, as long as these configurations are part of the existing features and do not need any additional development effort. Additionally, these customers should carry the active subscription for these discontinued modules to avail of such support. |
In case, I need some new features & I’m willing to pay for them, will SummitAI offer to develop them as standard customization? | No. We would also suggest you connect with our Sales & Account managers for extended discussions. |
From which version will these modules be discontinued? | In practice, all these modules are already stopped with active development & implementations one year back, however, we are officially stopping this from the Elbrus release onwards. |
Will I lose the data & the features in these modules if I upgrade to the latest version of SummitAI? | No. These modules are being stopped from actively selling & from feature development. However, it is still available as part of our standard release kits and continues to work even though customer gets upgraded to the latest versions. |
I want to upgrade to the latest version of SummitAI but still want to continue using the modules. Is that possible? | Yes, as long as it is contracted accordingly. |
