Service Management

The following section provides a sneak-peak of the functionalities added for Service Management:

Capture selected Asset details to PDF and Attach to Approval E-mail

 
User Persona: Analyst 

Capture the asset details on email as a PDF at all the approval levels by selecting the assets on the SR and link them to the request. All the asset details will be attached as PDF at all the approval levels.

  • The asset details can be viewed at ease by the approvers. 


  • All the approvers at all levels will receive the asset details which can help them to take decisions faster.

API to Get Survey List

User Persona: Admin

The list of surveys provided within a date range can be obtained by this newly added API.

API to Get Survey Details

User Persona: Admin

This API gets the details of the surveys submitted. It provides all details of the survey such as CSAT ID, survey questions, ratings, group name, feedback type, comments, and answers.

API to Update Survey Rating

This newly added API updates the survey ratings.

Enhancement to Configuring Auto Escalations

User Persona: Admin

The E-mail field is segregated into “To” and “Cc” fields. The recipients can be differentiated as “To” or “CC” in the escalation emails that are triggered by the system while configuring the Auto Escalation email recipients.

Asset Management

The following section provides a sneak-peak of the functionalities added for Asset Management:

Enhancement to the Physical Verification of Assets function.

User Persona: Admin

The provision of conditional additional criteria filters has been added to target assets (inclusions or exclusions) based on customer, location, division, etc. This ensures that a scheduler job is triggered to facilitate physical verification of assets whether allocated or instore.

Store Movement of multiple fixed asset categories

This feature introduces the capability to select multiple fixed asset categories from a single store.

Barcode printing for multiple fixed asset categories

This feature is designed to facilitate barcode printing for Fixed Assets, offering customization options based on selected Asset Categories.

Multiple fixed assets allocation to a single user 

 

User Persona: ITAM Analyst 

 


This feature facilitates the allocation of multiple fixed assets (of different categories) to a Single User through the Bulk Allocate option.

User Delegation for Asset Management  

 

User Persona: ITAM Analyst / End User 


You can delegate the roles and responsibilities of one user to another for a specified time period. 

This feature enables the user delegation of Asset Management module for My Asset List page.

Display Department Attribute on the allocation list screen
 
 
 

User Persona: ITAM Analyst 

The values for the Department attribute are displayed on the allocation list post-allocation. The Department attribute is placed according to the defined field order.

Bulk Allocate Fixed Assets to Customers
 

 

User Persona: ITAM Analyst

The bulk allocation of fixed assets to the Customer and Department to achieve this, three columns have been introduced such as Allocate To, Customer, and Project.

  • At once the user can allocate assets to Customer / Department / Single User. 

Finance Asset and Asset Tag attributes added to My Asset List Page


User Persona: ITAM Analyst

The new enhancement, Finance Asset and Asset tags are added to the My Asset list page. The newly added attributes reflect on the Summit Web application and old mobile app.

  • Enhances the search results for assets.  

Gate Pass Generation for Asset Actions

User Persona: ITAM Analyst

Enable Gate Pass Generation feature has been added at the Tenant level in the Configuration screen and the Gate Pass Generation feature has been added for asset actions such as Allocate and Deactivate.

  • Easier access to generating gate pass at multiple levels. 
  • Saves time as users can Import and generate gate pass by importing bulk allocations. 

Bulk Allocate from Excel Import (Contract User/Temporary)

User Persona: Analyst

The Bulk Allocate option has been extended to allocate assets to Contract User in the Action menu along with the ability to reallocate assets even if it's already allocated.

Improvements

Service Management

The following section provides a sneak-peak of the improvements added for Service Management:

The pop filter search in the configuration items in a new change record has been enhanced with 4 new search fields such as location, owner, criticality and customer.

Enhance filter functionality in the list page of scheduled Incidents.

The filter functionality for scheduled incidents have been enhanced with a new improvement of additional operators for aiding the search functionality.

Extend Service Validity Partially

Introduce a scroll bar on Knowledge Dashboard for multiple attachments

On Knowledge Dashboard, while viewing the Knowledge Record, a scroll bar is provided for the Attachment field when multiple attachments are added.

E-mail notifications for Auto-Rejected SR

User Persona: Admin

This feature enhances the functionality of Auto Rejected Approval E-mails by providing additional details on the Rejected reason. It incorporates the Auto Approval or Reject Duration, as defined in the configuration, into the additional remarks section of both Auto Approved or Rejected E-mails.

  • Displays Auto Approval/Reject Duration along with additional Approval remarks in the Approval E-mail based on the configuration at the Workflow level.

  • User receives information about the Duration of inactivity leading to the automatic rejection.  

Display Asset Details is a grid format in the Service Request

User Persona: Admin / Analyst / Approver / End User

Configure the Asset Details grid in the PDF Content Designer screen by using the drag and drop functionality. The Asset details is the Service Request detail pages of My Service Requests, Manage Service Requests are displayed in a grid format.
