Auto Delinking the Retired CIs
What's New?
Now, the Users can delink the Retired CIs and its CI relations on the pop-up page based on the Tenant level configuration.
Business Benefits
Using this feature the user can delink all CIs that are in Retired status on one page.
Personas
- Administrator configures the TENANT page.
- Analyst delinks the Retired CIs.
Prerequisites
This section includes information about prerequisites to delink the CIs or Services that are in Retired status.
- Enable the Delink Related CIs/Services from Retired CI check box on the TENANT page.
- Enable the Delink Related CIs from Retired Service check box on the TENANT page.

Delinking the CIs or Services of a Retired CI
- Click CMDB > User > Configuration Item List. The Configuration Item List page is displayed.
- Select the required CI from the list.
- Change the Status of the CI to Retired. The RELATED CONFIGURATION ITEMS AND SERVICES pop-up page is displayed.

Note:
The selected CIs and Services gets deleted from CI Relations tab. Also, the Status and Life Cycle Status of the parent CI changed to Retired.
- Click SUBMIT.
Delinking the CIs of a Retired Service
- Click CMDB > User > Services. The Services page is displayed.
- Select the required Service ID from the list.
- Change the Status of the Service to Retired. The RELATED CONFIGURATION ITEMS pop-up page is displayed.

Note:
The selected CIs and Services gets deleted from Configuration Items under the General tab. Also, the Status of the parent CI Service changed to Retired.
