What is happening now?

Now, while adding and/or updating the Asset(s), the Administrators and Analysts can provide the Asset Cost within the limit set by the Administrators.

Configuration

On the APPLICATION SETTINGS page (Asset > Configuration > Others > Application Settings), the following new fields are added to configure the Asset Cost Limit for users:

• Set Maximum Asset Cost Limit: If this check box is selected, the configured Asset Cost limits become enabled for the respective users.
  • Maximum Asset Cost Limit for Administrators: The limit specified in this field becomes the maximum limit of the Asset Cost that the Administrators can enter while adding and/or updating Asset(s).
  • Maximum Asset Cost Limit for Analysts: The limit specified in this field becomes the maximum limit of the Asset Cost that the Analysts can enter while adding and/or updating the Asset(s).
