What's New?

In the SummitAI Mobile App a Bulletin Board is introduced to view the essential messages. You can configure information you want to display on the Bulletin Board about an existing outage or a future event. The Bulletin Board messages can be configured specific for an end-user or a globally based on your requirement.

Notes:

  • The Bulletin Board only supports Courier New, Arial, Georgia, Helvetica, and Times fonts.
  • The configured message with more than one lines are able to scroll for reading purpose. 

Prerequisites

  • User Persona: Admin
  • Configure Mobile App Studio Configuration

Configure Mobile App Studio Configuration

To enable Bulletin Board in the SummitAI Mobile App, you must configure parameters in Mobile App Studio Configuration by navigate to the table (adm_mobile_app_studio_configuration_details) and get mobile app studio configuration JSON data to update the Mobile App Studio Configuration JSON data in the ADM_Mobile_App_Studio_Configuration_Details.

Screen 1To enable Bulletin Board for SummitAI Mobile App, mark the ‘isBulletinBoard’ as True.
Screen 2The Bulletin Board marquee widget appears on the end-user dashboard and all the other mobile app screens based on this configuration.
Screen 3The Bulletin List widget appears based on this configuration.

Configure Bulletin Board


The configured Bulletins are displayed under the BULLETIN BOARD section of the USER DASHBOARD page of SummitAI application. For more information on Bulletin Board, see Configuring Bulletins.

You can view the Bulletin Board information based on the following configuration:

  • Configure Bulletin Board - End-user Dashboard
  • Configure Bulletin Board - Globally
  • Configure Bulletin Board - Static 

Configure Bulletin Board - End User Dashboard

To view the Bulletin Board information on the end-user dashboard, an analyst has to select the checkbox corresponding to the Display as Marquee and select Show in End User Dashboard Only radio-button.

The configured message appears on end-user dashboard is displayed

Configure Bulletin Board - Globally

To view the Bulletin Board message globally, an analyst has to configure Show Globally parameter in Bulletin Board configuration. The Bulletin Board is displayed in all the SummitAI Mobile App pages, such as Dashboard, Approve Service Requests, Approve Change Records, etc.

Configure Bulletin Board - Static 

To view the Bulletin Board message in static, an analyst has to configure the Bulletin Board configuration without selecting the Display as Marquee checkbox. The static message is displayed in the end-user dashboard Bulletin List widget as displayed.

The Bulletin List widget can display maximum of five bulletin messages. Click See All to view all the messages in the list page
