ASet Limitations for Maximum Characters in Description Field of Incidents and Service Requests SRs
What's New?
The Administrators can now set the minimum and maximum number of characters that is allowed in the Description field of Incidents and Service Requests. If the minimum or maximum values are not set, by default, the minimum length is set to 20 and the maximum length is set to 500.
Configuration
The minimum and maximum values for the SummitAI Mobile App is configured in the SummitAI Web application.
For Incident Management:
(Admin > Basic > Infrastructure > Tenant > Select Tenant > On the ACTIONS panel, click CONFIGURE DETAILS > Select module as INCIDENT MANAGEMENT > Under the E-MAIL NOTIFICATION section, enter values in the Description Length field)
For Service Request:
(Admin > Basic > Infrastructure > Tenant > Select Tenant > On the ACTIONS panel, click CONFIGURE DETAILS > Select module as SERVICE REQUEST > Under the E-MAIL NOTIFICATION section, enter values in the Description Length field)
