Addition of Inactive Reason Column

What's New?

IT Asset Manager can now view the Inactive Reason column in the Asset Inventory List page which was previously available in the Asset Deactivate page as a drop-down with values configured in the Common Master configuration page.

The value selected while deactivating an asset against Inactive reason appears on the list screen under the Inactive Reason column.

The Inactive Reason is added as an option in Search By field under FILTERS. Upon selecting Inactive Reason in the Search By field, the search value is displayed as a multiselect drop-down with values configured in the Common Master page. Based on the selected values, it returns the matching records.  The Inactive Reason column is available for both Fixed and Non-Fixed assets and for both Inactive and In Movement status (wherever applicable).

Benefits

This new enhancement provides provision to access necessary asset details under single screen.

To filter Inactive Assets based on Inactive Reason:

Navigate to Asset > Asset Inventory > Fixed Asset.
Click FILTERS and select the necessary fields.
Select Inactive Reason from the SEARCH BY drop-down.
Click SUBMIT.

Field Description

The following table describes the fields on the FILTERS pop-up.

FIELD	DESCRIPTION
Department	Select the Department from the drop-down.
Status	Select the status from the drop-down.
Sub-status	Select the Sub-status of the asset from the drop-down.
Category	Select the Category of the asset from the drop-down.
Location	Select the Location by clicking the search option, which displays the location tree.
Return	Select the return type from the drop-down.
Search By	Select the relevant field from the drop-down.
Search Value	Select the search value from the drop-down.
Asset Condition	Select the required Asset condition from the drop-down.
