What are Notifications?
You can configure Notifications for a specific Classification of CI. When it is configured, an e-mail is sent to the configured users for any change in the CI.
To configure a notification:
- Click CMDB > Configuration > Notification. The NOTIFICATION page is displayed.
- Click ADD NEW on the ACTIONS panel. The NOTIFICATION page is displayed.

3. Select the Tenant, enter the required details and click SUBMIT to save the configuration. For more information about the fields on the NOTIFICATION page, see Field Description.
Field Description
The following table explains the fields on the NOTIFICATION page.
Field | Description |
---|---|
Classification | Click to select the classification. |
Active | Select the check box to activate the configuration. |
Resource | Click to add the user to be notified. Alternately, you can type in the name and select the user from the available option in the drop-down. |
ACTIONS
This section explains all the icons displayed on the ACTIONS panel of the NOTIFICATION page.
SHOW LIST
Click SHOW LIST to display the LIST table showing all the configured notifications.
