Master Reset

You can reset password of other users using the Master Reset/Unlock icon. This icon is displayed only for Administrators with Keyword Access.
To reset User's password:
- On the ACCOUNT MANAGEMENT page, click the MASTER RESET/UNLOCK icon.
- On the MASTER RESET/UNLOCK page, name and login name are displayed.

- On the MASTER RESET/UNLOCK page, select the Keyword as Master Reset.
- Specify the User's login name and a new password. Click SUBMIT.

MASTER RESET Using OTP
The Administrators can also Master Reset user passwords using OTPs provided by the End Users. This provides an additional layer of security while resetting user password. If the OTP Configuration For option is selected as Admin and Enable OTP option is checked on the SECURITY QUESTION MAPPING page (see: Securing Question Mapping), the OTP field is available to the Administrators for Master Reset/Unlock option on the ACCOUNT MANAGEMENT page.
To reset User's password using OTP:
- On the ACCOUNT MANAGEMENT page, click the MASTER RESET/UNLOCK icon.
- On the MASTER RESET/UNLOCK page, name and login name are displayed.

- On the MASTER RESET/UNLOCK page, select the Keyword as Master Reset.
- Specify and search the User's login name and click SEND OTP.

- Specify the OTP shared by the User in the OTP field. Click SUBMIT to reset the password.

Note:
The Administrators can configure the OTP expiry time in the OTP Expiry field on the Securing Question Mapping page. The User should share the OTP details with the Administrators before the OTP validity expires. If the User did not receive the verification code or the received verification code is expired, click RESEND OTP.
