What's New?

Now, an Analyst can select the Status or Sub status of the selected Status while performing any action on the asset. The Sub status field will be displayed for the Fixed assets only. The asset sub-status information is used to track the asset accurately at a detailed level. To meet this operational capability, a new asset Status Configuration web console is introduced.

Using this configuration, an Administrator can perform the following actions:

Rename parent status
Configure the Parent Status that was renamed
Created sub-statuses under the parent status
Rename sub-status
Set the sub status as default sub status.

UI Changes

New Sub Status Configuration page
The asset status and sub-status information is used to track the asset accurately at a detailed level. An Administrator can configure Asset status and create sub status for the particular asset category.

A new field, the Sub Status is appended on all the action pages of the Fixed Asset.
Two new columns, the Status and Sub status are appended on list page of the Fixed Asset.
This helps the Analyst to view the status and sub status information of the asset on the list page without navigating to the Asset details page.

While using the Asset Import Template, the Analyst can add Sub status in the excel sheet for the Bulk Allocation (Asset > User > Manage Asset > Import > Bulk Asset Allocation) of Fixed Assets. For more information, see Importing and Allocating Assets in Bulk.
The Sub status list is populated upon expanding the required Status on the FILTERS pop-up page of the Fixed Asset. This helps to narrow down the search results based on sub status value.

The Analyst can view the status and sub status on the Asset Details page of the respective Asset.
