What is Make?

The Make means the make (manufacturer) of the Configuration Items (CIs). You can add and modify the Make details of CIs for a Tenant.

To configure Make values:

  1. Select CMDB > Configuration > Make.
  2. On the MAKE page, click ADD NEW on the ACTIONS panel.
  3. Select the Tenant and type in the name of the Make in the Make Name text box and specify a numeric value in the Sort Order text box. If you select the Active check box, the Make value becomes an available option in the Make list on the other pages of the application.
  4. Click SUBMIT. A new Make value is configured.

ACTIONS

This section explains all the icons displayed on the ACTIONS panel of the MAKE page.

SHOW LIST

Click SHOW LIST to display the LIST table showing all the configured Make values in the SUMMIT application for the selected Tenant.

  • To edit a Make value, click the Name of the Make. Make appropriate changes and click SUBMIT.
  • To display the inactive Make values, click the Include Inactive check box.

Note:

When the list of Make values is displayed under the LIST table, the ADD NEW action is displayed on the ACTIONS panel. Click ADD NEW to configure a new Make value.
