The Administrators create the Profiles (see: Creating and Updating Profile). After the Profiles are created, they can be mapped to systems, IP Address range, users, customers, and locations.
To map Profiles:
Select Asset > Configuration > Application Control > Profile Mapping.
On the PROFILE MAPPING page, select the Tenant and fill in the required details. For more information about fields and icons on the PROFILE MAPPING page, see 72221517.
Click SUBMIT. A new Profile Mapping is configured.

Field Description
The following table describes the fields on the PROFILE MAPPING page:

DETAILS
Profile
Lists all the configured Profiles. Select a Profile from the list.
Allow Type
Select the corresponding allow type.
Software: Select this option if the application is a software.
Exe: Select this option if the application is an executable file.
Folder: Select this option if it is for a folder.
Type
Lists the type used to search an Asset.
Customer: Select this option to add a customer associated with Asset. Select customers from the list and click icon to add the selected customers to Customer List and click ADD button. Click icon to remove the selected customers from the Customer List.
IP Address: Select this option to specify the Internet protocol range. Type in the range of IP address in the text boxes that appear and click ADD.
Location: Lists the various locations configured in the application. Select a location name, which you want to display as a parent for this location. To select the location, click the Search icon. The Locations list page is displayed. You can use the Expand icon to view the sub?locations in the Location tree. Select a location and click ADD.
System: Select this option to map a System with an Asset. Specify the System Name in the text box and click ADD.
User: Select this option to map a user with an Asset. To select a user, click the Search icon. The Select User page is displayed. You can use the Search field to search for a user and click the respective user name link to configure as an approver and click ADD.
Select the type from the list.
System Details
Displays the details about the systems mapped to the selected Profile.
IP Address Details
Displays the details about the IP Address range mapped to the selected Profile.
User Details
Displays the details about the users mapped to the selected Profile.
Customer Details
Displays the details about the customers mapped to the selected Profile.
Location Details
Displays the details about the locations mapped to the selected Profile.
