License Compliance By Device Report

The License Compliance by Device Report shows the count of procured licenses and the count of device-based allocated and unallocated software installations. It also shows the usage of licenses. 

Admin or Analyst can access the report based on access privileges assigned through roles.

Steps to access License Compliance By Device Report

To view the License Compliance By Device Report, perform the following steps:

1. Navigate to Reports > Asset Management > License Compliance By Device Report.
   
   
2. Click Filters on the ACTIONS panel to specify the filter criteria for generating the report.
   The FILTERS pop-up appears.

3. Enter or select the values for Filter fields as described in the following table.

   Field	Description
   Department	Select the name of the department from the list. This is a mandatory field. For more information, see Department.
   Location	Search or Select the Location. Click icon to select a specific location. You may select any location in the hierarchy.
   Publisher	Select the specific publisher or publishers from the drop-down list for which you want to display the report.
   Include In-Store Assets	Select the checkbox to include the In-Shore Assets details.
   Show Internal Compliance	Select the checkbox to show the internal compliance.
   Show Publisher Compliance	Select the checkbox to show publisher compliance.

4. Click SUBMIT.
   The License Compliance By Device Report is displayed.

   Field Description

   Field	Description
   License Name	Displays the name of the software license.
   Procured	Displays the count of the license procured.  Screenshot Figure: Procured License
   Valid License	Displays the count of the licenses that are valid.
   Allocated	Displays the count of the allocation.  Screenshot Figure: Allocated
   Total Usage	Displays the total number of the licensed usage.  Screenshot Figure: Total License Usage
   In Stock	Displays the count of the licenses that are in stock.

Click the Refresh Report to fetch latest details for the report. Any changes performed after the Reports page was loaded, will reflect if you click on Refresh Report .
