SummitAI introduced Izenda 7 with the Alps release. The Administrators can use both Izenda 6 and Izenda 7 reports. However, the reports created in Izenda 6 cannot be viewed or migrated to Izenda 7 and vice versa.
Improved SummitAI Application Performance With Izenda 7
Izenda 6 was integrated in a way where it opened within the SummitAI application iframe. Any application, which opens within another application iframe impacts the performance of the application. Izenda 7 is tightly integrated with SummitAI application, it opens up on a separate tab of the browser, without putting any additional load on the performance of the SummitAI application. The authentication/authorization for Izenda 6 and 7 works in the same way.
Migrating Izenda 6 Reports to Izenda 7
The reports and dashboards created by the customers using Izenda 6 do not get migrated when updated to Izenda 7. The customers should identify the BI reports and dashboards that they want to be migrated to Izenda 7. These reports and dashboards need to be built from scratch using Izenda 7. The migration of these reports and dashboards is not supported natively by SummitAI.
Support for Izenda 6
Izenda 6 reports will be supported until September 2020. All the customers should migrate their reports created in Izenda 6 to Izenda 7 to avoid losing any reports.
