The Scheduled & Provisional Depreciation Report displays the capitalization and depreciation of assets on quarterly or Yearly basis. Admin or Analyst can access the report based on access privileges assigned through roles. Admin or Analyst can access the report based on access privileges assigned through roles. 

 Additional Information

Gaap(Generally Accepted Accounting Principle)standards use many standard and protective measure to make sure of reliable account statements on Assets. Assets are owned and controlled by organizations which possess measurable economic value. Scheduled and Provisional Depreciation report helps Analysts or Admins in understanding the capitalized amount and depreciation amount. This report can be extracted on yearly or quarterly basis.

Steps to access Scheduled and Provisional Depreciation Report

1.Navigate to Reports > Asset Management > Scheduled and Provisional Depreciation Report.

2.Click Filters on the Action panel to specify the filter criteria for generating the report.
The criteria FILTERS pop-up appears.

3. Enter or select the values for Filter fields as described in the following table.

Field

Description

Tenant*

Tenant is similar to department in an organization, example : Operations, IT. Select the Tenant name from the list. This is a mandatory field. For more information, see Configuring Tenants

Category Name

Lists the configured Category names. Select the Category from the list. Example: Hardware, Software, Fittings.

Gaap Type

Gaap is Generally Accepted Accounting Principles.Lists the configured Gaap Types. Select the Gaap Type from the list.

Financial Year

Select the Financial Year from the list to display the report.

Type

Select the Type of report to be displayed as Quarterly, or Yearly. The drop-down value Yearly is not displayed in the Type drop-down field if the user selects the current financial year.

Quarterly

Select the Quarter from the list to view the report.
Note: This field will vary based on the value selected in the Type field.

Report Type

Select the Report Type from the list as Provisional or Scheduled.

4. Click SUBMIT.

Scheduled and Provisional Depreciation Report is displayed.

Click the Refresh Report to fetch latest details for the report. Any changes performed after the Reports page was loaded, will reflect if you click on Refresh Report 

ACTIONS

You can perform following actions from the ACTIONS panel of the Scheduled and Provisional Depreciation Report page.

Prints the displayed report records.

Exports the displayed records on the page to a Microsoft Excel sheet.
