You can configure the messages that are displayed when a user tries to install an application or a software or an exe file of warning or blocked category.

To configure messages for Application Control:

  1. Select Asset > Configuration > Application Control > Master Configuration.

  2. On the MASTER CONFIGURATION page, select the Tenant and type in the new message details. For more information about the fields on the MASTER CONFIGURATION page, see Field Description.

  3. Click SUBMIT. A new message is configured.

Field Description

The following table describes the fields on the MASTER CONFIGURATION page:

Title Message

Type in the title for the message page.

Block Message Content

Type in the message for blocked applications.

Warning Message Content

Type in the message for warning applications.

Enable Application Control

Select the check box to enable Application Control.

Create Default Profile

Select the check box to scan and create default Profiles.

Scan System Files

Select the check box to scan machines and upload files on the server. You can also specify the file name in the text box.

Log Application

Select the check box to write logs for an application:

  • Allow: Select the check box to write logs for an application of allowed type.
  • Warning: Select the check box to write logs for an application of warning type.
  • Blocked: Select the check box to write logs for an application of blocked type.

Log Size

Type in the maximum size for the log.
