The Software Inventory Report provides the list of Assets where a Software or a list of Software is installed. It also provides the Asset details, such as Asset ID, Asset Serial No., Host name, Allocation Status, Asset Location, Asset Store, Customer, and so on. Steps to access Software Inventory Report
- Navigate to Reports > Asset Management >Software Inventory Report.
- Click Filters on the Action panel to specify the filter criteria for generating the report. The criteria FILTERS pop-up appears.

3. Enter or select the values for Filter fields as described in the following table.
Fields | Description |

Tenant | Tenant is similar to department in an organization, example : Operations, IT. Select the Tenant name from the list. This is a mandatory field. For more information, see Configuring Tenants |
Customer | Select the Customer from the list. |
Location | Select the location from the LOCATION tree. For more information, see Configuring Location And Store. |
Include store Asset | Currently Available Assets. Select the check box to include In-Store Assets. |

4. Click SUBMIT
The Software Inventory Report is displayed.
5.To view more details about an Asset, click the related Asset ID from the Asset ID column. You can view the details of the Asset on the ASSET DETAILS page.

Few of the fields that are present in the report are explained in the following table.
| Field | Description |

| Asset ID | Unique ID for that Asset. |
| Asset Code | Unique Alphanumeric code for that Asset. |
| Category Name | The type of Asset. Example: Laptop, Desktop, CD |
| Asset Location | The current location of Asset. |
| Allocation Status | Displays if Asset is Assigned or Unassigned. Example: Allocated / Unallocated |
| Allocated User Name | Displays the user name with whom Asset is currently present. |
| Asset Details report | This detailed report displays many details related to Asset. Example : Repair and Movement history of Asset, Unmapped Software details, Audit trails, Incident history and so on. |
Click the Refresh Report 
to fetch latest details for the report. Any changes performed after the Reports page was loaded, will reflect if you click on Refresh Report
ACTIONS
You can perform the following actions from the ACTIONS panel of the Software Inventory Report page.
