You can configure or modify the Change Types_CM for Change Records (CRs) under a Tenant. You can add a new Change Type and map it to a configured Source Change Type.

To configure Change Types:

  1. Select Change > Configuration > Change Type.
  2. On the CHANGE TYPE page, click ADD NEW on the ACTIONS panel.
  3. Select the Tenant and specify the Source Change Type from the Source Change Type list. Specify a name to the Change Type in the Change Type text box. If you select the Active check box, the Change Type becomes an available option in the Change Type list on the other pages of the application.
  4. Click SUBMIT. A new Change Type is configured.

ACTIONS

This section explains all the icons displayed on the ACTIONS panel of the CHANGE TYPE page.

SHOW LIST

Click SHOW LIST to display the LIST table showing all the Change Types configured in the SUMMIT application for the selected Tenant.

  • To edit a Change Type, click the configured Change Type. Make the appropriate changes and click SUBMIT. You cannot modify the Master Change Types.
  • To display the inactive Change Types, click the Include Inactive check box.

When the Change Types are displayed under the LIST table, the ADD NEW action is displayed on the ACTIONS panel. Click ADD NEW to add a new Change Type.
