titleAdditional Information

Attributes refer to the characteristics of an asset. For example, attributes of a Desktop could be Serial Number, Host Name, IP Address, RAM Size, HDD Size etc. Likewise, for a DVD it could be Model Number, Manufacturer Name, Capacity, etc.

Asset categories are by default customizable and hence category attributes are customer-specific.

Therefore, this report helps the Admin/Analyst to view the list of assets based on the custom categories configured by Admin for the corresponding tenant.

For more information on Asset Management reports, see Viewing Reports.

titleCustomized Reports

Symphony SummitAI provides out-of-the-box reports with default attribute filtration criteria. Based on your requirement, you can recreate the existing reports by adding or removing the default attributes. The Default Reports cannot be updated. However, you can recreate and customize reports by reusing the default reports.

For example, the standard Asset List By Attribute report can be recreated with more or less number of attributes by selecting the views AM_AssetMaster and AM_[Tenant Code]_All_Asset_Details from the list of options available under Asset Mgmt on the New Report page.

*[Tenant Code] is a unique code assigned to each Tenant. To verify Tenant Code, navigate to Admin > Basic > Infrastructure > Tenant > Click the tenant hyperlink from the list available to verify the Tenant Code.

To know more about creating new customized reports of your choice, view Creating New Reports.
