What's New?

The enhanced MY ASSET LIST page enables the end user to filter and view all the required data of the assigned Asset in an organised pattern.

Various improvements are made related to My Asset List as follows:

1. Captures information about all type of assets allocated to user under the separate tab respectively.
   
   • Fixed Asset: This section displays details of the Fixed Assets that are allocated to the end user.

   • Accessories & Consumables: This section displays details of the Accessories & Consumable that are allocated to the end user or to the allocated Assets.

   • Software: This section displays details of allocated Device-based licenses, Blacklisted software and User based licenses under the Software tab.

2. Asset Acceptance with terms and conditions

Now, while accepting an allocated Asset from the ACCEPT ASSET pop-up, the end user has to specify the remarks and select the I agree to the Term & Conditions check box to complete the Asset acceptance process. For more information, see Asset Acceptance with terms and conditions.

3. Defines the Asset Usage type

A new field Asset Usage Type is appended in the ACCEPT ASSET pop-up. Using which the End User can add/update the Asset Usage type while accepting the Asset. For More information, see Configuring Asset Usage Type.

4. UPDATE ASSET USAGE TYPE Action 

A new action UPDATE ASSET USAGE TYPE is appended on the ACTIONS panel. Using which the End User can update the Asset usage type on the MY ASSET LIST page. For More information, see  Configuring Asset Usage Type.

Configuration:

• The terms & conditions check box is available on the Accept Asset pop-up if the Enable Terms and Conditions in Asset Acceptance check box is enabled on the Asset Management APPLICATION SETTING BY TENANT page.
  
• The Blacklisted Software tab is displayed on the MY ASSET LIST page if the Show Blacklisted Software check box is enabled on the Asset Management APPLICATION SETTING BY TENANT  page.
• The Allocated Software tab and USER Based LICENSES Section are displayed on the MY ASSET LIST page if the Show Software Entitlement check box is enabled on the Asset Management APPLICATION SETTING BY TENANT  page.

• The Asset Usage Type is displayed on the MY ASSET LIST and Asset Allocation pages while accepting an Asset and allocating the asset to the End User, respectively if the Enable Asset Usage Type check box is enabled on the Asset Management APPLICATION SETTING BY TENANT page.

• The Asset Administrator receives notification when a user updates the Asset usage type if the Notify Asset Admin about the Asset Usage Type updates check box is enabled on the Asset Management APPLICATION SETTING BY TENANT page.
