The Dashboard provides a way to create a personalized arrangement and display of related reports.

All standalone report types can be added to a dashboard, and visualizations can be created directly on the dashboards without needing to make a separate report. Dashboards can also have text, borders, images, visual filters, and embedded web pages. Dashboards run in the browser, can have interactivity such as dynamic filtering and drill-downs, and can refresh on a timed interval.

To create new dashboards:

  1. Click Reports and select SUMMITAI Reports. The following page is displayed.



  2. Click  icon and select Dashboard. The following page is displayed.



  3. Click the  format icon to open the Dashboard Style pane. 
  4. Select the Width radio button and enter the required height in the text box.

  5. Drag and drop the New Tile into the empty pane.

  6. To add existing reports into a dashboard, select Existing Report.
  7. To add a report to a dashboard, simply drag it from the report tree onto the dashboard.





  8. Repeat the step 5 to 7 to add more reports into the dashboard.



  9. To add the filter, select Filters(F) icon and select Add Interactive Filter.

  10. To add filter to a report, select the check box before the report name.

    Note: 
    On hovering the name of the report, the respective report tile gets highlighted as shown below.



  11. Select the required field form Filter Field.
  12. select the filter condition based on your requirement.



  13. Select the value from the drop-down.



  14. Click  save icon to save the dashboard.


  15. Type in the dashboard name in the Dashboard Title field.
  16. Type in the dashboard description in the Dashboard Description field.
  17. Select the folder for the dashboard from the Folder section.
  18. Click Save Dashboard.
  19. Click .
