You can select certain column names under a Master table and map the column names to the Master table. Based on this selection, the selected column names and the Master table names are displayed as the drop-down values in the Inventory Fields drop-down list on the KEY FIELD MAPPING page. For more information about the KEY FIELD MAPPING page, see Configuring Key Field Mapping.

To map the column names to the Master table:

  1. Select Asset > Configuration > Mapping > Custom Hardware Variance.
  2. On the CUSTOM HARDWARE VARIANCE page, on the ACTIONS panel, click CONFIGURE.
  3. On the CUSTOM HARDWARE VARIANCE page, select the Table Name from the Table Name drop-down list to which you want to map the columns.

  4. Select the check boxes against the Column Names that you want to map with the Table Name and then click SUBMIT.

ACTIONS

This section explains all the icons displayed on the ACTIONS panel of the CUSTOM HARDWARE VARIANCE page.

SHOW LIST

Click SHOW LIST to display the LIST table showing all the configured tables.

Note:

When the configured Master tables are displayed under the LIST table, the CONFIGURE action is displayed on the ACTIONS panel. Click CONFIGURE to map Column Names to the Master tables.

PRINT TABLE

Click PRINT TABLE to print the records displayed on the page.

EXPORT TO EXCEL

Click EXPORT TO EXCEL to export the record displayed on the page to a Microsoft Excel sheet.
